I’m Elvis Mathew (founder of Nuevo's Pizzeria), and my story with pizza began over five years ago when I was in Europe. In those early days, I found myself captivated by the simplicity and joy of a well-made pizza – a humble dish that brings people together around a table, whether it’s lunch with friends or a quiet dinner with family. But as I savored every slice, a thought kept coming back to me: "Why isn’t this wonderful recipe more accessible in my hometown?"

In Europe, pizza is more than just food; it’s a way of life, a comfort, and a shared experience. Yet, back in India, it’s often seen as a luxury or an occasional treat. Many believe it’s an unhealthy indulgence, when in truth, a well-crafted pizza can be as wholesome and balanced as any home-cooked meal. I knew this misconception needed to be challenged.

That’s when the idea for Nuevo's Pizzeria was born – a place where quality meets affordability, and where pizza is celebrated as an everyday delight, not a rare luxury. My dream was to bring a slice of Italy to every Indian table, to break the myth that pizza is just "junk food," and to make it a delicious, healthy part of daily life.
